The World Health Organization - WHO Interregional Seminar on Traditional Medicine, Acupuncture , Moxibustion Anesthesia was held in Beijing, China in JUne 1979 dan drew up the following provisional list of diseases that TCM Acupuncture can be treated.
The following cases responded very well to acupuncture treatment:-
Orthopaedic ,early osteoarthritis esp. knee joint.
cervical spondylosis (neck pain),backpain,frozen shoulder ,tennis elbow.
Compulsive Disorders :obesity,excessive sweating ,smoking,alcoholism,nervousness,insomnia, migraine
Neurological: Neuralgia e.g trigeminal neuralgia, post-herptic pains, sciatica, Bell`s palsy,migraine,headache, drug addict, spasm, hemiplegia, poliomylitis, tinnitus, numbness of legs, hands and fingers, parkinsons, forgetfullness, etc
Respiratory: allergic rhinitis ,sinusitis,bronchial asthma.[resdung]
